Digital 3D Modeling

This category is defined as any original artwork that has been created and can be modeled in three dimensions. Projects will be presented on the device and in the software they were created. An physical 3D model that has be printed on a 3D printer is NOT necessary. Software used to create 3D models includes, but is not limited to:
  • 123D Design for Education
  • AutoCad
  • Blender
  • GollyGee Blocks
  • LEGO Digital Designer
  • LightWave
  • Maya
  • Minecraft
  • Rhinoceros
  • SketchUp
Digital 3D Modeling can create anything from vehicles to animals to tools to cities. Minecraft is a particularly popular way of creating 3D cities and structures.
